Ka-27 made serially from 1981. For the Navy it has been made at
serial factories 353 helicopters Ka-27 (in a Kumertau) various updatings.
Nine Ka-31 helicopters have been ordered by India, for deployment
on the INS Viraat aircraft carrier and Talwar frigates. First deliveries
are scheduled for late 2003. Also based on the Ka-27, the multi-role
Ka-32 has been chosen by South Korea for search and rescue duties.
